Hello everyone

S

siadwel

Made redundant a couple of months ago and thinking of joining the trade. Have always enjoyed diy tiling ( have just finished our kitchen ) and am searching for a good tiling course to improve my skills further. One thing I won't be using again is that superstore ready mixed grout that my wife bought because she liked the colour, talk about contraction :yikes:

Thanks, it's becoming compulsive viewing on here - so much to learn, don't want to be a cowboy. My problem would be the customer would be happy but I wouldn't be. Started hanging out in pub toilets lately, "Honest guv, I'm only looking at the quality of tiling for research" :boxing_smiley:

Thinking of PTS 4 week course in either Warrington or Harlow. Have up to £ 2,500 to spend on courses thanks to React. Not sure whether to spend some on a bathroom fit course as well. A big difference in knowing a little and what I'm already learning on here, once I get to know the terminology a bit better, feeling a bit like this :yikes: at the prospect.

Andy ( the tiler  )
