Hello from a newbie!

Hello everyone!
I discovered this website today by accident and I've learned so much already!
I'm somewhat a novice at this tiling lark, and posted a question on one of the forums about some adhesive for porcelain tiles that some of you lovely folk have replied to. It was also suggested that I introduce myself on this forum, so here I am.

So far I've done the grand total of 1 room of tiling ( my bathroom) and I did rather a good job if I may say so myself so now it's time for the dreaded kitchen! Hopefully it'll be slightly quicker than the bathroom.... I think it took me about 4 times as long to do the bathroom as it would have taken a 'proper' tiler!!
So kitchen it is and being a girl, the folk in the DIY shops just kinda pat me on the head with a 'there there dear' kind of attitude!
So prepare yourselves for loeads of silly questions!!
