Hi Mike welcome to the forums. If you have sore knees, you may want to chat with Gaz in the chatroom. He gave up tiling because of his knees!

Grumpy

My knee's have been bad since i was around 14 getting in to tiling just compounded the problem, cod liver oil and physio keep retirement at bay as i still have 31 year's till retirement:grin:

welcome mike ;0)

nice to see a good time served pro sharing his experience on here, and a red aswell, cant ask for much more than that!

as for the knees, i met a lad before christmas who swore by alpro knee pads from germany, trade tiler sell then for about 44 pound but they are excellent..

Hiya ed ,
I've actually tried them and they crippled me,not that i think they were bad ,i just cannot wear knee pad's as i can be on my knee's all day without them and alway's feel less sore than with them.

Hi Mike & welcome to the forums mate. As far as the problems with your knees, I've also been doing it for far too long mate (if you know what I mean), and I also take cod liver oil tablets on a daily basis, but have you tried Glucosamine & Chondroitin tablets? They are designed to provide nutritional support to help maintain strong healthy joints & act as a suppliment to repair the damaged cartlidge tissue. My neighbour who is a retired vet recommended them to me so I also give them to my old dog ( I don't mean the wife) lol. You can get them from ASDA among the other vitamins. Good luck mate, let me know how you get on but don't blame me if you start barking!

Rob
