Total newbie here, came to ask a question, but needed to intro myself first.

I'm from Singapore, just bought an apartment and wanting to change some tiles.

What do I need to do to post a question in the tiling forum which contains a couple of URLs to my own images?

It won't allow me to.

It says "Post denied. New posts are limited by number of URLs it may contain and checked if it doesn't contain forbidden words."

What do I need to do? All I want is to ask a simple question which I'm sure many of you will already know.

You can't link to web pages, so if you wish to post photo's, you have to save them to your computer and upload them as images/thumbnails. Only when you have become a regularly posting member can you link to webpages. thanks

I have saved them to the computer, but everytime I try to upload it to the new thread, it says:
"Error: Exceeds your quota by 102.6kb. Click here to view your attachments."

There is no click here to view attachments, and the file is ONLY 70kb!!! All there is, is an OK button.

It's extremely difficult just to post a very simple question and to show a couple of low resolution photos. Why is it so hard? it's so frustrating! Not only that, I needed to introduce myself in the intro section, then wait for an admin to approve my post. What's up with all the security?

All I want is to ask a simple question with some photos.

Can anyone help?

Security is very tight here and we pride ourselves on running a secure site that does not tolerate trolls and spamming. Please continue to ask your questions and we will do what we can to help. In the meantime, I will raise your error issues with Admin.

Thank you GirlRacer. But in order to ask my question, I need to show a couple of photos which I'm having so much troubles uploading from computer and as a URL.

Maybe I can PM you the images and you can add them to my post?
