Help! Broken conduit box

Got a problem with the metal conduit box on a double socket. The lug that the faceplate screw threads into has broken off. Does anyone have an ideas on how this can be overcome, without having to dig out an replace the old box, which would damage a newly tiled kitchen spalshback?

Hmmm, a difficult one, which lug is it? If it is the one that is able to move up and down a bit to keep the face plate level, then these can work loose and fall out, if you still have it (or remove one from a new box) then you can pry up the two retaining pins that it slides on and slip it under again.
If it is the fixed lug on the other side, then I'm not sure how to proceed.

Had that once, found a long 4mm screw and managed to screw it through the back of the back box itself, only give away was it had a phillips head but it went un-noticed
