I had planned to buy a small mirror to fit above the wash basin in my bathroom. I was going to fix this mirror to the wall using adhesive (aparently there is a specific mirror adhesive). Anyway, the missus purchased the mirror yesterday and it has four fixing holes, one in each corner. Now, I am not sure exacly how I should go about fixing this miror to the wall apart from the obvious fact that I need to screw it to the wall. My concern is that unless the wall is absolutely flat then as I wind the screws in the mirror could try to flex and then crack. Another way I suppose the mirror might be damaged is if the screws don't stay exactly central in the holes through the mirror and end up cracking the mirror again. I am thinking that I need some form of rubber spacers behind the mirror to allow for variations in the wall and some form of rubber washer between the edge of the hole through the mirror and the edge of the screws. Any ideas?
