hello All
I am redoing my kitchen and have taekn up my old kitchen tiles to level the floor and put doen new tiles. However under the old rubbish cracked tiles i have found some lovely original terrecotta ones that would be great to restore and keep!

The problem i have it that most of them are still covered in mortor and cement and its solid- i have been chilesling away for 20 mins and done about 1/3 tile!!

Is there an easier way of doing this or should i just recover them again??

Thanks in anticipation of all your hints and tricks!
