Hi,
Ive just finished tiling a part tiled bathroom which was a mare as I had to work off the previous tiles, which I managed to get for £3.50 m2 147x147 Johnsonns which I found in the end after all the searching around the shops.
I just went into the kitchen to start to tile it with the same tiles and noticed they are 152x152.:mad2:,Ive been around to B&Q, Homebase and wickes but they all measure 150x150..My local shop said they are probably a Pilkington and they have them but they are 45p each tile, that works out a small fortune compared tp £3.50 for 44.
Im wondering as the kitchen its part tiled is there something I could do with say 150s? If I put a border or trim in,I still think it would look though.
Ive just seen on ebay someone selling 152 pilkingtons, but in Bradford.
Its a long way to go,but could save the money and pass on the petrol to the customer.
Any ideas Chaps??
Cheers,
Vin.
