Hi All I wonder if anyone can help? I am having electrical UFH installed and need to know the best way to go about it, at the moment the floor consists of the following: Damp proof membrane, 80mm insulation, 100mm reinforced concrete. What should the next steps be given the floor will have electric UFH, Lafarge pumped screed followed by limestone flags? What is the layer build up to finished floor and what products are recommended to achieve it. Mant thanks

Is this an In Screed UFH or on top of screed ?

It is in-screed (pumped lafarge)

I meant is the electric UFH installed into the screed or laid on top after the screed is done. ?

The screed will be pumped over the UFH system so I guess its in screed.

Yes I believe so, Ithink that is the lafarge product

Right Ok. We do have a specialist who works with Lafarge on the forums but I doubt he will be on here until this evening.
Other than that we have Dave, who IMO would be the best person to talk to regarding tiling to a Gyvlon screed. Although I will say there is no great rush as drying times are very important with this product.

Thanks I'll wait and hope for a response, is there a need for a de-coupling layer?

Personally I always go for a decoupler when using stone and UFH.
