New to this site so an initial Hi to all. Apologies in advance for being long winded !!!
Recently been to quote someone who wants me to initially tile over existing tiles on his kitchen floor. Multi size tiles in nice awkward pattern just to add insult! He also wants me to carry on pattern into his hallway.
Problem he has tho is where kitchen has already been tiled, there is obviously the issue of carrying on the level into the hallway which currently has carpet. Have suggested that we could self level the hall to get to the kitchen level as is although we then have issues with the other rooms going off the hallway. He doesn't fancy the self levelling idea.
Above in mind any advice as to what would look best would be appreciated. (Also does anyone see a problem in going over existing floor tiles? Any special adhesive? etc.
