Hello people..hope you can help, i have been tiling for about 4 months on sites tiling council kitchens..FOREMAN can be reall petty about little things and can be a problem..my work so far is good and i have come on leaps and bounds!!..Although the money isnt great..£50 a kitchen and less tax and insurance on that as well..i havent done a full bathroom yet but feel i would be comfortable with it and i also want to start floor tiling as well...the problem i have is trying to find work and stay in it..i would like to work direct for a company but they all seem to take sub-contractors on...i feel that the better money is through private work..if you have any tips at all regarding finding work, foreman or any tips at all i would be greatfull...how did you start off tiling..how was it for you when you first started???

try doing some floors for family and friends get some practice in before going into lots of private work mates rates will help you get some experience contact local tilers see if they need help try to work with a pro it will help you a lot then try local tile suppliers do some display work (i did them free ,worked for me but dont let them take the ****)
plumbers always need tilers, try them too

stick with it and get some practice on floors there is money in floors.i love them quick and easy
