I am a first time tiler and am struggling to put the trim around the window. The tile size is 9mm and the trim is 9mm but it does not seem to cover the edge of the tile. Anuone got any suggestions. The next size up appears to be 12mm? I am confused but don't want this to beat me.

you can get 10mm trim, try your local tile shop, if not use the 12mm but put more adhesive on the edge of the tile to pack it out flush, best to use a cement based adhesive for this...

If the 12mm is to much then look around for a 10mm trim, Genesis do 10 mm. Just a case of trying a different tile shop.

Hi Andy and welcome.... Yep as above you need a trim slightly deeper than the tile thickness to allow for adhesive bed..

Is it not covering the cut edge of the tile or the uncut edge, as tiles tend to be thicker in the middle. Occasionally you can leave a tile joint to the trim and the grout blends to the edge.
