Hi everybody i am i need of some help
I am tiling a kitchen floor which the customer wants to go into the bathroom as one whole floor,the problem i am having is when i am setting out the tiles in the kitchen which look straight equal cuts either side when i continue into bathroom they run out badly is there anything i can do to correct this

You'll have to discuss with your customer which room or view is the one that is most seen by them.
Usually the kitchen wins.
Some patterns such as Half Bond will help hide these flaws.

Thanks bugs i thought i must be doing something wrong i have measured the bathroom and one of the wall runs out by about 30mm and kitchen isnt the best either think ill ask customer as you say and half bond is a good idea but tiles are only 31.5 mm x 31.5 will that look ok do you think

You'd be amazed, some rooms just don't want to set out as you want, so you need to speak to the customer and see what they are looking for i their floor.
Do you mean 31.5 mm or cm???
It could look very busy if the tiles are halfbound 31.5 mm. But if they are that small there'll be so many grout lines i doubt you'l' really notice how out the floor is.

Thought so!!!
Lay a few out and show the customer how half bond would look as apposed to straight bond.

Thanks for the advice buggs spoke to customer and she said get kitchen right and can live with bathroom being out also going to mention half bond when she rings back thanks ill post some pics anyway when done lol

also ask her if you could split it under door line as you will be able to set both room out seperate and keep joints in line
