hi rathulf :welcome: to the best forum in the world

firstly, the secret to great tiling is perfect preparation. you need to get your prep work right before you can do anything else right.

plasterboards and a tanking membrane are a favourite with most tilers, or alternatively you can use water resistant boards such as aquapanel or wedi.

and adhesive and grout is just as important. what did you use in your bathrooms last time?

GRR

i used flexible tile adhesive and grout but did not put anything on the marine ply beforehand as i was told by a tiler that i didnt nees to so now i basically have to take off the remaining tiles and start from scratch just wondering whats the best way to approach preparation of surface- is it better to keep the ply or is there something i can put over the ply to help the adhesion- ive only ever tiled over plastered finished blocks before so im not used to this marine ply tiling
