I'm Sue and I'm an amateur tiler who's done quite a bit of tiling over the years. However I've never used tile trim before and registered with the site to see if I could find some help as I need to do three way joins! It sounds quite tricky but hubby is ready to have a go now we've read the pictorial instructions! Thanks for the advice. I'll let you know how we get on...........

I suggest you do a practice on 3 way mitres 1st, it took me a while before I got good at them.

We have been beavering away all day but sadly gave up on the 3-way mitres as we decided they were too tricky and practicing uses a lot of trim which adds to costs! In the end I used trim vertically on the external corners and edges, and will paint the top of the tiles (which are terracotta) to match the wall above in Magnolia.

The tiles look great:hurray:, but I will never again use combined grout/adhesive!!

I've not used it before and thought it would save buying two different products but it's a nightmare to get off the surface of the tiles and seems more difficult to squeegee into the joints . I'm sure you professionals don't use it and I would say to any other amateurs out there - stick to separate products, they are much easier to use.
