Hi everyone,
I desperately want a career change from teaching Post 16 students with Autism and have enrolled on a tiling course in the North East. Have done a few DIY jobs for family and friends whom all have been very happy and gives me more satisfaction than being told off by management every other day. I want to get into providing a full service of bathroom/kitchen fitting and any advice and help, critical or otherwise would be greatly appreciated. I have also put a few snaps for everyone to criticise.

The satisfaction from tiling can be great. Plumbers, carpenters and electricians all do loads of work in a house and don't really get the credit for it, but tilers and plasters and other finishing trades just add the final touches and it looks like a dream come true for some customers.

My advice: Do your course, listen to everybody who gives you advice, do some more tiling at home, for friends and for family and then jump in the deep end.

Remember, we're always here to help where we can. :)
