hi fellas,
just found and joined the site, think it's a mint site. i've been tiling for around 15 years on commercial and domestic projects. i'm from leeds but in november 2009 i moved down to Heswall in the Wirral. for family reason, since then i've found it so hard to get my name around to get jobs, so i decided that i'd try to get back on site. june 2008 was the last time i was on site. but i can't get on site because i have no cssc card or nvq2. can anybody please help put me in the right direction as to how i go about qualifying for these. i'd be most grateful of your help guys. many thanks Ian

Welcome. Do a search for "time served" and "NVQ" as i'm sure there is a thread about getting NVQ for time served tilers. good luck anyway.

Hi and welcome Ian. I can help you get the NVQ level 2 via the fast track EWPA (experienced worker practical assessment route) which will enable you to gain your skilled worker (or blue) CSCS card (once you have passed the CSCS test). If your interested give us a call or PM me. Good luck
