Do not take your waste home with you. As soon as you put waste into your van you become a waste carrier and have to have a waste transfer licence. If you do not have this and you get stopped the fines can be horrific. If you have any sort of accident you will not be insured. It can have all sorts of repercussions and before you ask yes this applies as much to a small bucket of adhesive waste as it does to a trailer full of the stuff. To add to it all adhesive waste and plasterboard waste will be technically classed as reactive waste and therefore have to be disposed of nder special conditions.

If you are on a domestic site (someone's house) explain the above and let them get rid of the waste in their wheelie bins. Or if there is a lot get them to hire a skip.

If you are on a building site there shuld be facilities to dispose of waste on site. If there is not I suggest that the builder might not be one to work for too much.

If you are on a contract site you will have to dispose of your waste in the appropriate manner set out in the site procedures and their waste management statement.

As above. You have to have a waste license to carry waste legitimately.

If the job is big, then put a skip in the price of the job, they're from about 40 quid so it's not a massive cost for the customer. If it's a smallish job, tell them to put a little in their bin each times it emptied.

If they have a car, ask them to take the waste to their local refuse collection point or whatever. They can use their services free of charge domestically but you'd have to pay if you wanted to take it there.

Must be cheaper up Stoke. I have a mini skip on my front lawn at the moment ....£70 !
