Hi all.
Great site.
I'm about to start tiling my bathroom with 9mm 600x300 full bodied porcelain tiles. Here's the question I need to cut 10mm to 20mm off the long edge of a number the tiles ( about 12), I would assume that using a manual tile cutter is not a viable option, however you may know better. I have a small flat bed cutter with a 180mm disc which with a new disc may be a slow option. I've done plenty of ceramic tiling but this is my first go with large porc. tiles. Also wondering does anyone have any ideas about a specialist tile hire outfit around the Wirral, the normal hire shops usually have clapped out small battered tools in my experience, (looking for a good manual tile cutter to handle 600 porc. tiles).
Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your attention.
