Hi to all at the forum, i'm considering a tiling course (in Scotland) , i design and build high quality hand crafted furniture and have been asked by a few clients if i do tiling
(i usually do the plumbing and electrics ( IEEE standards) if it's a kitchen job), and have been asked to do splashbacks and other small areas. From experience, clients prefer a tradesman that is multi skilled, as they then have to deal with fewer people. Anyone been on the course in Grangemouth ?, any feedback would be appreciated.

Regards, wildbill

Wildbill,
If you check the customer comments for the course in Grangemouth and then look at the ones for North east tiling training, they are exactly the same. I know theres a course in Johnstone, but dont know anyone whos been on it.

I've jsut checked and they're completely different.

The scottish course you talk about did however place feedback that wasn't theirs on their website when they first launched. If anybody is copying feedback it'll be them. But as far as I know they removed the stolen feedback quickly and haven't posted any since.

Darren @ NETT doesn't need to steal any feedback. His feedback thread on the forum is not only the biggest positive feedback thread about courses - IT IS THE BIGGEST THREAD ON THE FORUM! - his courses have trained hundreds if not thousands of tilers and there are plenty on here still tiling willing to give their view on his courses.

Tiler Training School is one of the newer sponsors but I have checked them out the best I can and they appear very well organised and above board. They're aiming to get accredited too.

Me personally though; I wouldn't touch the grangemouth centre with a barge pole.
