Hi all,
Been tiling for about 2 years now mainly as a subcontractor for the guy who took me on when i first started, unfortunatly the contract we were working has since dried up and im now looking for work in the scarborough area but to no avail.
i have had a b and q trade account since i started out due to a few little private jobs i did. What i'd like to know is is it worth opening up a topps tiles trade account, also is it a difficult process?
Thanks.
Roy

hi wilson,i would say yiou shoudl open accounts in every tile shop in your area......check out there prices and products they sell and see how they operate and use all these outlets to your advantage

some may offer better material costs.....some may have better quality tiles etc
also good to have options for your customers to go to for tiles,b and q i do use them but only for bits and peices tbh

There you are, Roy, hi, good talking to you earlier and GREAT to have a Scarborough man on the forum at last!

Stick around, there's a wealth of experience on here. We aren't hte Mecca for tileshops here, are we... but do open a trade account with Direct Tile Tmporters in Falsgrave, the topps tiles service, hmmm, not impressive in my opinion, neither is the level of discount, but go anyhow and leave your cards there. There's also Tile Giant, a TF sponsor, our nearest in Hull, but they are very good at displaying cards and customer service.

:welcome:
