Personally I don' bother with the paddle mixer . I use a Makita variable speed ( via the trigger ) drill ( £80ish - 110v ) which I can also use to drill holes etc.

Just to add the last one I had lasted over 7 years before the Armiture gave in.

Why have 2 when you can have just 1.
