Went for two weeks last September. Very informative, great practical experience. Both Carl and his dad John who run the course are ex tilers, so have lots of knowledge. I have since been back a couple of times with design / layout queries and they are really helpful. They will also offer discounted prices on addy / grout etc (well, they did last year!)

I've just done a 1 week course that I found excellent. As mentioned previously its all 'hands on' but John is more than happy to answer any questions you might have. There's so much information on this site that you can get in your own time at your own speed, the most important part for me was the practical side. I know that John is also more than happy to answer any problems I might have with tiling in the future.

I did a two weeks advanced course here, 2 years ago and found it very good josef who was the instuctor was very good and he would answer any questions you had even if they where not always related to the course. I really enjoyed the course from learning how to spread the adhesives and cutting the tiles correctly and not cutting yourself of which i did on more than a few occassions (josef's reply when i asked for a plaster for my cut finger was you should cut ze tile, not ze finger in his anglo/austrian accent) i still laugh at it even now. But getting back to the course i have recommened this course to a few people since i did mine so if you want to get into tiling give them a shout.

Hi , I did a 2 week course here 4 years ago. like others have said hands on and practical ,the best way I find to learn. Carl was teaching excellent knowledge delivered in a friendly manner. The small groups were ideal as you only had to shout and he would be there. Excellent set up of bathrooms to tile as practice work. Before this course I had never put a tile on a wall, now I've put up thousands.
