It's an awful tragedy. I'm glad the families finally have the answers they've campaigned for. Why did they have to wait 24 years though? That's why I'm watching, I want to know who's to blame.

It was a horrific thing for those people and their families to go through. I'll be honest and say that I've been guilty in the past of thinking that they were wasting their time fighting for justice, now I understand why they didn't let it go. Some disgraceful behaviour from the people in authority who we are supposed to be able to trust. I hope someone is brought to justice over this.

What disappointed me is that the people in power and authority tried to blame the fans. As a Liverpool fan of 26 years, I never had any doubt that it wasn't the fans that caused the tragedy. Cynically though, I doubt the people who were to blame will ever be brought to justice for this. Too many people died needlessly and for that, I'll never forgive.

I hadn't seen this latest documentary but have now after being prompted by this thread, it does go some way to correcting the lies told before but it doesn't even scratch the surface of what really went on. I read the latest report and also some of the archived evidence which is now in the public domain, most of it is absolutely heartbreaking, especially reading accounts of family's searching for and identifying their loved ones and the disgusting way they were treated by the police at the most distressing times of their lives.

Also it doesn't show just how deceitful the main officers were in their actions not only during and after, but even a number of days before the match.

You only have to read just a few of the official eyewitness accounts from to understand the true horror of that day. Again this documentary doesn't really show that.
