Depends on your outlook and what is 'best' for you, if it's scenery of forests then West coast of Scotland, if it's hills and dales, Yorkshire ( for me ) if it's sand and sea and sun, South West England / Devon ? Cornwall. What are your preferences ?

I heard that John, apparently it's one of the happiest places to live. It also came top of the list for areas with a drink driving problem which might explain why everyone is so happy!!

Harrogate.. worked there quite a lot over the years... very rich city and jobs are good money .. BUT it does have a high drug crime rate...
