I have used Knauf Aquapanels as a waterproof backing for my tiles.
The tiles I purchased (all in total) were expensive--almost £1,000.
I have taken down the Aquapanels and some tiles I have saved, others are still stuck on the Aquapanels (the adhesive grout I used was Unibond Tile on Walls from B&Q).
How can I reuse the tiles? How do I get the hardened grout adhesive off? Do I use a scraper, can I soak them? I would like to reuse them as they were expensive.
Also when fitting new Knauf Aquapanels should I dot 'n dab them to the walls using a Dry Wall Adhesive or should I use wooden battons i.e. should I make a wooden frame against the wall then screw the Aquapanels to the battons?
thanks ...
