How do you make a website?

Just done a course at NETT last week and I'm looking at starting my own business as a wall and floor tiler and I'm looking to get a website up and running but I have no idea how I go about getting one so any advice would be appreicated.

i've been at it all day,i was using webs.com/ for a free listing then you need to register it with google and yahoo etc.
you will need some pics of work to help with this

hi lee,there is a website company on here as a sponsor i beleive they are good at what they do mate,i did a home made website to start but ill be honest it probably did me more harm than good lol,,i have since had it updated so it looks better now

lol sorry mate,doesnt mean yours will be like that tho mate,,i chose a duff template to work with and it looked very very basic altho i did still get work from it..i had it updated from a guy i know..its still simple nowt fancy but its effective defo a must for bringin in work anyway
