How far do you travel?

I used to travel nationwide on the commercial stuff, but tend to stick to about an hour or so each way now.

There used to be 2 or 3 of us so we could share the driving, but even so if the job was for longer than a week we'd tend to stay in digs a few nights.

One of the worst ones I had was getting called up to Stockport to change a broken tile.... 4hrs each way 30mins on site...... all in the name of unpaid snagging!! :mad2:

usually about an hours drive in any direction is sufficient but if a customer contacts me from any further i will accomodate them,usually there is a higher price though to compensate the long day
