I don't want to jinx it but, I'm having a cracking year so far. Just booked my first job in for June. Happy times.

Yep it's going well at moment, plenty of calls coming in, all recommendations so they generally convert into jobs.

Had a call from an old customer yesterday, just had an extension built and an extra bathroom fitted. Tiles are already lifting and grout cracked. I said I bet it's no longer than a couple of months since it was done. Christmas it was finished and it was the builder who tiled it. Looks like another floor up and relaying, keep em coming.

The way it been going lately its crazy my misses thinks i'm gonna end up in a box soon i'm only 32 and look more like 40 yet a few months ago i looked young for my age. And now one of the guys i do alot of work for wants me to be his project manager which i really want to do on top of what im doing.

Just need to get this pain in the bum job out of the way..........lots of other work to be booked in, and phone is constantly ringing.

Not moaning......but I'm knackered. Need my holiday.

I've had my best year yet & still going strong. I'm booked into June. I have end of August & 2 weeks into September booked too. Still getting at least one quote every second day & so far, I've got every one bar a call i got yesterday. Job was to Wet wall a full bathroom next week lol

Had a crazy start to the year and it doesn't seem like its going to slow down! well and truly booked into the summer, if we have one this year!

dec/jan/feb the worst ive had in 25 years but just coming good now and gone the other way with too much through to summer.

I'm running a couple of sites at the mo , one is an ongoing project with about 8 yrs to go , but is running slowly due to the current economic climate , enough to keep me going though. The other is a house bashing site I've been asked to run until it finishes - probably about 3 mths there. I do these for a contractor I've known for some time now.
So I say I'm ok until the summer at the moment , maybe even the Autumn.

Well, From being very poor and down in the dumps last week all of a sudden I have 5 jobs to go and price from Mybuilder (yes I know its expensive but its hopefully getting me work for a while) and one confirmed job.

I'm a bit in disbelief at how someone with your skills is not very busy, I'm very sure things will pick up for you, stay positive mate!

Strange year so far, luckily was booked up to March before xmas, no enquiries Jan or 2 weeks of Feb, just got 2 pools & surrounds, Fourseasons Hotel rooms contract, and Spa refurb for this year + the normal domestic recommendations from previous clients, started getting plenty of fresh enquiries mid Feb. Seems to be getting later and later after xmas that new business starts ? Anyone else find that ?

Spent January and February week to week but worked every day although probably could have compressed it into 3 or 4 days. Picked up again now, very busy with most of April sorted apart from a few days in the middle of the month.
