How many bags of grout?

Hi all,

I'm looking to grout around 40m2 of floor tiles, looking to use ultra colour from mapei (shout if incorrect, am using over slc and ufh).

any ideas how many 5kg bags ill need?

600mm square tiles, 3mm grout line and 10mm tile depth!

Allowing for adhesive bed within tile depth , then I would say 5kg bag.

Make sure you go per manufacture instructions,
Mix it mechanically with the exact amount of water specified.
It may look too thick to start with but when the polymers collapse after about 5 mins it should be bang on..

It's amazing how much grout certain tile shops supply. Recently was sent two 10kg bags for 20m of polished 600s. :lol:

And the correct answer was one bag of grout - pretty much spot on, could've maybe scraped a cupful extra out of the remains.
