How Many Quotes?

Just wondering how many quotes people are doing a week, just a rough estimate, and how many you actually have accepted, recently I have been doing around 2-3 quotes a week (only tile weekends) and am getting nearly all of them, maybe time to up my prices.

What about you guys??

I average about 4/5 quotes a day at work lol

Depends really.. some weeks busier than others.. one week might not get any qoutes next week could be six or more.......kept really busy anyway that's wot counts.....dave..

Same as Dave might get none one week then maybe 5 one week,been excepted for nearly every quote so far,I must be a bit cheap.Maybe theres not that many tilers about in my area,in Topps theres about 18 different cards,8 must live at least 15 miles away from town and about another 6 are for Handymen that will do just about any job going.
Most of my customers have called me first,they either say because I was recommended or they liked my business card.Each time I've given a quote they've accepted it without getting another guy to quote,I think its cause I make an effort to really get on with them.

building up a rappor with the customer is very important,mostly listen to them carefully when they tell you what they want,picking up on the smallest detail can really impress them.Sometimes you will never get on with your customer but you are there for the money and not to marry the daughter,so bite your lip and do your job friendly,cleanly and proffesionally
