How many sq mtr's

Got kitchen splash back job lined up measured up at 2.5 sq mtr's how many sq mtr's shall i tell the tell them to get not shore if they will be big or small format tiles yet will this make a difference to the amount needed. I usually add a couple of sq mtr's but if i do this i will have nearly double amount :huh2:

tell em to buy 3. most tiles come in packs of 1ms. if you have spare over tell em to keep the rest for the future if any get damaged. if there were 25 sm for example i would tell em to buy 27sm of tiles cos you allow 5-10% for breakages and it always nice to keep a few stashed away

A sqm of 10 x 10's and a sqm of 20 x 30's.... it's all the same, it's still a sqm, so yes.
