How quickly does unused powdered addy and grout go off once opened?

how critical are the ‘use-by’ dates on addy and grout once opened? How quickly does this stuff ‘go-off’? Do you guys wrap it up / store and use it on future jobs or do you lob it in the skip once job finished and opened then use new gear each job?

Depends how you store it, damp leaky garage couple of days and you will have a slab in a bag.
Store in dry ventilated area, pref on a pallet and cover with something breathable ( dust sheets ) not poly sheeting as it will trap any moisture and addy will go off. If your busy enough then you should'nt need to worry about shelf life but it will be somewhere on the bag.
