I've picked up 10 quarry tiles (220 x 220 x 40 thick) from a local reclamation yard to install as an internal windowboard. What's the best way to fix these to the top of the internal blockwork wall? A bed of mortar and point up the joints? However, the bed cannot be thicked than 5mm and the joints between tiles will only be around 2mm. Or tile adhesive and grout? If so, anything out of the ordinary I should know about? |
