Hi everyone.
I am new as you can palinly see, but not only new to the forum, I am also new to the whole DIY thing . Anyways, I am trying to install ceramic tile in the bathroom floor. The job itself is not easy for someone like me, who has never done it before, but I seem to have a rather nasty problem. There is a huge pipe coming out of the floor, right next to the bath itself, where its most important to have a good waterproof isolation, so building close to it wont do (I think).
On the other hand, there is not enough space under it for the tiles and underlay and grout and all that. I am at a loss.
I have here a picture, not a very good quality, but should be enough to give an idea. If anyone knows any "easy" solution for this problem (i.e. not rebuild your bathroom :earmuffs, then please tell me.
Don't worry btw. the pipes will be repainted xD.
Cheers everyone.
