How to remedy out of level window reveals

My last job i had some really bad window reveals so thought i'd do my bit and take some pics on how to rectify them. No doubt some will use the same method but for those that dont, here goes.

This is what i was faced with and the thought of them being packed out with adhesive didnt really suit me.

I decided dot and dab with plasterboard would be the best method. I fixed the boards and made sure that the sill had a fall for the shower water to run off.

The boards all then had a coat of Mapei G primer and 2 coats of Mapeigum to ensure it was properly tanked.

this is also useful method if your tiles almost fall full tile reveal to reveal build out with board to make them fall full tile no checkouts top finish

I have a similar problem but cannot accommodate 12 mm plasterboard on side and bottom reveal. I had intended to use 6mm cement backer board. Can I ix this in a similar way?

you can't dot and dab cement boards mate.

That's what I thought. Will have to skim with render to vertical reveals and then bed cill board on cement and screw down. On soffit there is room for 12.5mm plasterboard and I will dot and dab as I don'y fancy screwing into lintel. I can't find a source of 6mm plasterboard near Chester.
