I have used the same cutter, where about are you attempting the break, at the edge of the tile ? what size wheel? on that thickness I would use minimum of 10mm heavy score and a firm snap, but to be fair, it is pushing the cutter to the limits, I just bought a Rubi TS 600, nice bit of kit.

UPDATE!!!

I inspected my NEW Genesis Pro 600 very closely, it turns out the breaking bar is not square to the breaker bar on the base, it hits to the right quite a bit sooner.

I have returned the cutter today for a full refund the supplier were top notch and will send the cutter back.

Looks like ill have to hire again :(..

I use the Genesis super pro 600 and have had no problems ( always use Rubi scoring wheels though ) even with Porcelain so I was suprised you were having probs, glad your supplier is sorting it for you.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
