Hi, I have a problem with the grout in between our kitchen floor tiles, the tiles are beige and the grout is also beige. After my husband tiled the floor we religiously applied a liquid that we bought from the tile shop (which we suspect is probably Unibond)? in order to stop the grout discolouring due to dirt etc. After about 2 months the area in which I do most of the food prep is turning a different colour than the rest of the grout (dirty), I was the floor regularly but the discolouration still remains, I have thought of getting down on hands & knees and scrubbing it with bleach but we thought the protective liquid we bought was supposed to prevent this happening.

Can anyone help here please

Cheers

Same problem with beige polished porcelain tiles. Tile and grout Sealed by the tiler but grout still collects bits of dirt. Occasionaly we scrub the grout with a white cloth and our pH neutral cleaner. The missus is after getting a steam cleaner. Perhaps like this for example.

Earlex Steam Cleaner Combisteam SC165BQP1, 5016501193160

Will it work? Will it screw up my tiles and grout? Any advice please so I can avoid coming home and finding her just cracking on and doing it! :disappointed:
