Most expensive plate in the UK sold last year for half a million and it was 1p. Some banker sold it and said "I thought it'd be funny for anybody with a sense of humor in the banking or financial industry" - I thought, hmmmmm. So nobody then. My account aint got a sense of humour. Nor my bank manager in fact.

This probably won't surprise anyone, but I'm a bit of a registration plate geek! I'm waitiing for 2014 so I can have BR14N.F.J, and I've been looking at one recently for my wife D14EEB (Dweeb!) as this is my loving pet name for her.

Nice.... I love private plates and have two of them myself...... One I bought from the dvla for £250 and the other, I had to buy the car to get the plate. The guy who had it vowed never to sell it to me for one reason or another. So got someone else to buy the car when he put it in the paper. I ended up getting it for far less than I offered him for the plate.

Just that no-one picked up on it. When you space it properly it's not obvious WH 05 HAT....much more innocent.
