I left a gap filled in with a tile but I guess that will be wrong too **hangs head in shame **did you grind the contour off the border to accomodate the shower screen neale or leave a gap between the borders?
i wouldnt worry to skim it if its my own house. surely floor adhesive gonna stick better than skimming...Are you by any chance the Heart attack that has just recommended tiling directly onto a bonding coat in another post? Hmmm.......
Nice work Neale
Sorry mate, wrong answer.:yikes: People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, the phrase "way out of depth" springs to mindi wouldnt worry to skim it if its my own house. surely floor adhesive gonna stick better than skimming...
You do seem to be a competent tiler, however in pic 4 there is a window and a toilet which both appear to be focal points on that wall and neither have been centred, not great setting out IMO. You really won't get on very well around here by picking faults with other peoples work especially when its Sir Ramics customer that has taken the time to show the forum how pleased they are with the job, and rightly so.View attachment 31402 View attachment 31403 View attachment 31404 View attachment 31405
Here some buddy, i dont take many photos. my phone isnt even color screen i prefer to bring my camera to snap some jobs
pic4, the wall is centred. and on the left end there was a bath. Well i didnt mention to be a bigheaded. just told what i saw. its very noticable. My suggest, get a veryfine sandpaper and slightly sand it over. You do seem to be a competent tiler, however in pic 4 there is a window and a toilet which both appear to be focal points on that wall and neither have been centred, not great setting out IMO.
