I really hate Royal Mail

Absolutely useless bunch of ...........Argghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

So at the moment i have 4 items waitiong to be delivered here.

On Wednesday I popped out for a few hours and 10 minutes before i returne the mail man arrived and left a note saying that they had a package which was too large for the letter box and I needed to collect from sorting office the following day. now I was at work the following day but they open between 7 and 12 so I was there at 7am. No parcel as it hadnt returned as yet ??? It took just over 24hours to get from London to the West Midlands but couldnt do 2 miles from my house to the sorting office within another 12 hours !!!

Ok so then yesterday I have another card, same thing , gotta go collect. Anyway this morning I try to collect the 2 packages ....but only the 1st is available and I get the sanme story as the 1st .
So I now have this 1st package which I look at and think..." that will go through teh letter box easily" Sure enough I try when I get home and right through !

Tomorrow I have to collect 2nd package, Now if its what I thiink it is then it will go through the letter box too.

Now I dont mind collecting the packages but why do they have such stupid collection times ...7am to 12 midday ???

If a courier company take something back to the depot you can usually collect it up until 10pm. Why not teh Royal Mail ? Its not as if there is no one in the building :mad2:

Anyway 3 of the packages are of special interest to me and maybe you but not saying too much yet....you lot can wait too ...I have too rrr:

There's been a lot of complaints recently over this kind of thing where a signature is required. Some postmen have been accused of rather than ringing the doorbell and waiting for answer they just drop the card through the door to save time.

I have cctv and I have seen them not even try to deliver stuff but if you complain , no one listens.

I had a passport delivered in october waited in so i didn't miss the courier, when he arrived he said, there was no need to wait in cos we now can video our selves posting it through your door. The little box thing that you sign had a video built into it.

I have no problem with them leaving their notes and I understand it will take a few hours to get back to the sorting office but come on 12 hours ??? and at least give us a chance to collect after work hours !

Oh I have had that too, wrong piggin street sometimes.....Isnt it a requirement that posties can actually read ?

I don't hate royal mail as much as some of the letters they deliver!

They lie Neale, i've caught them dropping those cards through the door without even knocking, when I chase em up the road they tell me as they are delivering by hand they can't take out the larger letters and parcels as they haven't got room, so they never had it with them in the first place!!! and somebody has paid for that service to be delivered to your door, not to the local sorting office!!!
