just seen the second one:yikes: if they decided to bail so soon my guess is that it is a steep hill round the corner!

Taken my son drifting in the van.

Great fun........as long as the car park is totally empty

I used to have a bit of a suped up MR2 turbo that was setup for drifting (rock hard rear suspension and the turbo boost set to low revs, and the gear box was setup for drag as the guy that owned it before me used to drag in it but moved onto skylines as the top end in MR2's ins't much really for the amount of noise they make). That was incredibly twitchy. I loved roundabouts in it, even took it to a 'run what ya bring' track day and drifted it quite a bit. The exhausts used to flame when it warmed up and I char grilled a mates white XR3i once when I drifted it and he was on the outside of the roundabout trying to get out of my way. As I changed gear a huge flame flew down the side of his car. Had to wash it for him as he thought I'd done damage to it lol - was just a bit of carbon dust on it. Luckily it was the year the CAT came in so it didn't have to have one which helped with the breathing and flaming of the little beast. Would love to have a go in it again now but unfortunately that wont be happening.

Sold it to a mate and he wrote it off the first week he had it before he'd even paid for it! The same mate wrote my a celica GT4 (carlos signs cetrol replica) a month after he bougt it off me as that used to kick out, again, before he'd even paid for it.

Both times he wrote them off going around roundabouts, both times the day he got their MOT. Both of them had stage 2 or 3 turbos and setup. Bless.

Now he sticks to front wheel drive 1.4's and the likes lol.

I used to be well into my cars some time ago. Grown out of them a bit now and we have an Astra 1.6 which my Mrs broke the other day by skidding on ice and cliped a kerb (and nearly ran over two people chatting by a shop). She broke the wishbone and the anti-roll bar droplink which baffled my mate who repaired it for us yesterday as he said those are really flexible plastic so that they don't break.
