Hi,
I hope someone here might be able to help.
Below is a picture of some tiles. They have been installed in the kitchen of the house we bought sometime in the last 3 years.
We want to replace the work surface, but some of the tiles will probably get broken doing that.
Can anyone identify the tiles, or where they might have come from?
Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi MadDocA,

It should be possible to replace the worktops without any damage to the tiles, the carpenter may charge a bit more because of the extra labour involved but it would be cheaper and easier than trying to match and replace tiles.

Has somebody already told you the tiles will get damaged? Or has the carpenter said he won't be responsible for any damage?

Also have you looked behind the kickerboards under the base units for spare tiles. I know I and many others hide spares under there for any future alterations... just a thought:thumbsup:

...and I thought it was just me that did that CR:thumbsup:

I hide all sorts under kitchen units and baths:lol: Anything that I know somebody in the future making alterations would love to have... Tiles Pelmets, Cornice, spare door handles and even an empty bag of grout so they know what was used. If i'm feeling really generous I sometimes leave a print out of materials used and suppliers. All part of the service:lol:

Hi,
Thanks for all your replies. I've been away for a few days, so apologise for the delay in replying.
Have now tried looking under cupboard behind kickers, on top of cupboards and in the shed without success.
The tiles are 20 x 20 cm, gloss finish, smooth untextured surface. The tiles were allegedly bought 3 years ago.
Hope that helps some, but I suspect this is a discontinued line now?
Thanks again.
