turned up to work this morning to tile a kitchen floor and hallway. walked through the door and all old adhesive was still on the floor. note on the wall said i have been told by someone at work that you can tile straight over it! this is after i went round and told him it all needs to be removed. i went and got some slc and went over the lot then left a note saying you owe me an extra £100 and i will be back next week as im too busy this week

job today, was told old adhesive on wall would be removed, needless to say ribs of the stuff all over the place! just makes you seem slow!!!

How about, started a job today, total refit of two bathrooms including knocking down two walls, half a chimney breast and moving two doorways. Go in the door and the guy says "oh can you take your shoes of as we've just had all the carpets proffesionally cleaned". I didn't say anything because I knew if I started it would have got unpleasent.

Do a written quote with all the details of the job, what your liable for and what your suppying and who's removing the debri at the end the job, and if you do in your van, don't get caught without a transfer licence. Customers can make you go:mad2:
