Hi all just like to know if you had £80 to spend on your tiling company then what would you buy?

80 squids...i bought an angle grinder and a rubi porcelain blade to go with it for about that price this year and was a great wee investment especially on jobs where space was tight and jobs in flats where the wet cutter wasnt appropriate to be setup.

Some new printed tee shirts, work trousers or I might put it towards the awning I am having fitted to the van to stop me getting wet when mixing/cutting

I think it depends on your situation mate.

If you are a recent start up and need to drum some business I would agree with the other comments e.g.

website - with an online presence you get constant promotion and open up an easy means of potential customer contacting you

Advertising - Get word out there with leaflet, business cards of some advertisement in your local paper. Paper may not be worthwhile at this point in time though.

Branded clothing - make a good impression to both clients and general members of the public who could be potential clients when they read you logo and realise what you do.

Aletantively, make a new addition to your tool kit!
