Hi all thinking of doing a course with PTS Harlow firstly can anyone recommend them as 2 Grand is a fair bit of dough for me.
Secondly how much will all my tools cost extra?

As for tools

How long is a piece of string one can go on and on buying til one drops

but essentially around £1000 for all the bits and bobs to start off with

Hi and welcome to the forum, its a goldmine of good tiling info and tips. I did the 4 week PTS course in harlow 8 months ago and can really recommend it. There are however lots of courses that are reviewed on here for you to look at.

Tools? agreed with Raja, leave a grand aside and that will get you going, make sure you are going to stick at it before buying anything too expensive. Cash (flow) is king!

I did the 4 weeker at Harlow and have to fully concur with Davy G. It may be worth leaving some cash aside for a van and insurance, too - starting up does not come cheap!:huh2:

2 mates of mine have just completed a course with NETT for under 500 they are impressed with it, and i have had them working with me for a confidence boost and i am impressed. it taught them how to do it to a high standard.
