As for tools

How long is a piece of string one can go on and on buying til one drops

but essentially around £1000 for all the bits and bobs to start off with

Hi and welcome to the forum, its a goldmine of good tiling info and tips. I did the 4 week PTS course in harlow 8 months ago and can really recommend it. There are however lots of courses that are reviewed on here for you to look at.

Tools? agreed with Raja, leave a grand aside and that will get you going, make sure you are going to stick at it before buying anything too expensive. Cash (flow) is king!
