May be some other form of ID would do.

Other EU natioanals can come here without pasport but on valid ID card.

Yes we popped into town, and i bought lots of sparkly bits and pieces, sparkly shoes, etc. And my Daughter got a few bits as well :lol:.

I heard something about this very thing on the radio yesterday or the day before....apparently Britain has "opted out" of the EC travel without passports bit, so to leave and get back into Britain even from an EC country (except Ireland) you need a passport!
