Hi ,

has anyone come up with a good solution to tiling over the jointing tap on the walls. It's no different to fitting tiles on to a large roll of sticky tape and I have zero faith in it. I got very expensive marble mosaics goings on and I could do without my bottom rows de-bonding. Any suggestions welcome. I'm contemplating spraying it wit an adhesive of some kind.

Not tanking the walls. Green plasterboard. The builders make these decisions and take responsibility. I advise but to much is seen as moaning. The tanking has all been provided so no choice. I'm just as happy using durables and the tape

I'll share my secret with you. Cover the tape with prime+ grip (Tilemaster) or Eco Prim (Mapei). They are both purposely designed to grab to non absorbent materials. If you were tanking the walls (which you really should be by the way) Ardex WPC sticks to it as well.
