The one requiring the least qualifications I'd guess is the overall one.

I guess plastering, tiling, painting and decorating etc would fall into that, rightly or wrongly.

Assuming electrical engineering and the likes are the hardest based on that theory. They might not actually be though to a clued up bloke.

A hard one that is mate lol

You always think of the good debatable threads you do!

Personally I found tiling easy to learn theory-wise, but hard to put into practise quickly. I was good at tiling but took ages. And I don't think I've spend enough time doing it to be classed as 'quick'. Like with anything though I'd rather spend a bit of time getting it right than rush it an balls it up.

I can't stand it these days though I'd much rather pay one of you lot to do it and me get on with web related stuff which I can do with my eyes shut.

Everyone usually says painting, because apparently anyone can do it... I've used a few professional painter/decorators now, and only found one i was happy with. So maybe it's not quite as easy as people think it is. They say the same about tiling too.... lol!

Saying that, i'd probably say Tiling is the easiest trade to learn, but hardest to perfect. A lot of these other trades don't have to get a perfect finish, as they aren't finishing trades, and their balls-ups can be hidden!
