Info on black quartz 60x60 floor tiles

Hi I am looking for information on the black quartz floor tile, ie were to buy,any problems to look out for,looking after,i am in the Merseyside area and will need about 25sq m. any info would be appreciated Thanks

try "tiles porcelain.co.uk . " fixed 22sq mtrs 60x60 from them just before christmas looked great

IMO stick to Tile HQ.... in my experience the tiles from the other comp above have been reported to be of a lower grade, not suitable for UFH if this is required and not the best quality resins..

You should never just base a good price to be a good product.. just my opinion..

Hi Dave,Thanks for that info,i have phoned both the mentioned firms and hq seem to be the best and not just on price,just waiting on some samples to come and then going to stoke to look at quality,may even buy there and then. Again thanks for info

I would checkout some of the other threads we have about tilesporcelain. There was even a whole website setup by a unhappy customer not so long ago. Stick with one of the more reputable suppliers, like Bathroom Tiles | Kitchen Tiles | Wall Tiles | Floor Tiles | Laura Ashley Tiles, as suggested.

But do a forum search for them. I think quite a few forums have feedback about their customer service (or lack of) and poor quality grade tiles.

If you would like to see the quality of this tile then pop along to your nearest Tile Giant and take a look at The Cosmo as these are the exact tile you will get from Tile HQ

Ive done my new build house with quite alot of tiles from the Buytiles.com and tilesporcelain.co.uk and have had no problems with either service or quality - in my opinion, get samples from anywhere you are thinking of buying from and see the qaulity for yourself - never just buy based on all the sales patter you get. This site is sponsored by Tile Giant (part of Tile HQ etc) therefore alot of people are jumping on the band wagon so to speak of bad mouthing certain other companies - not a true reflection in my eyes. Seems like there has been one or two bad comments about buytiles.com but you tend to find that there arent alot of people that write on here about great experiences but more to come and complain about a bad experience. My advice - do your own tests on the samples before you buy, thats what I did and Ive had no problems

We have complaints on here about Tile Giant too. Though we have a lot more complaints about TilesPorcelain.

The forum itself is pretty fair though. Proof is in the pudding we've had umpteen photo's uploaded of poor quality tile from various suppliers.
